Ironman
August 1, 2009As promised, here are some additional art pieces from this year’s Ironman, Coeur d’Alene. They range in size and price and can be customized to fit a specific wall in your home or office. I have chosen to print them on a variety of fine art material including canvas, metal, watercolor paper, metallic paper….all depending on the piece and how I thought it would best display.
As with all of my artistic pieces, I print only 100 images and sign and date the back. When all 100 in the series have sold, the image is retired and no more are printed.
If you wish to see samples of the following, please contact the studio at 208-704-7463. Or, if you know of anyone who may be interested, please let them know.
Additionally, if you have a digital image that someone has taken of you from the race or a prior race and would like me to turn it into an art piece, that is an option as well.
Thanks!!! Margaret

Here are a few of the group photos that i took of the race. If you would like to purchase any of these, they are available in a variety of sizes …. color or black & white. If you are looking for more of an art piece rather than a photographic print, the images can also be printed on fine art metallic paper, as a canvas gallery wrap or metal mural. I would recommend a larger piece mounted to masonite as they are much more intense in a larger format (12×36 or 15×40). An art piece or photograph make a great gift.
MORE IMAGES TO COME…..As I go through the many images that were captured this year, I will add them to this tab so check back at the end of July for more photos and artistic pieces. Call the studio if you have questions…208-704-7463

Hi Margaret,
I purchased the black & white Ironman Swim 2008 from you last year for my daughter’s birthday gift. It was her first Ironman last year and she was very moved by the photo realizing that she was somewhere in the “feeding frenzy” of athletes. She returned home this past week-end to support 2009 and loved seeing the print still hanging over Java’s fireplace. She has signed up for Ironman 2010 so I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful photography.

Margaret – I love these pics! They are fabulous. I want to see more. I need to see if I can get any for pieces in my husbands clinic. He completed his 7th Ironman last Sunday. Send me a note and let me know how I can see them. Also, my son is needing his senior pics – do you do that? If so, I need info on that too. Great to see you are doing well. I do not know if you remember – I used to work at Health Care for Women……

I raced IM CdA 2009 and a few days after the race I saw some of Margaret’s race photos at a local coffee shop. This was my first IM so it was a milestone. I fell in love with the swim photos – she was able to capture the chaos of the swim in a peaceful and calming way. I asked Margaret if she could create a large format (40″x60″) of the image on a canvas & ship to CA. A difficult task especially if you don’t have a big budget. Margaret worked we me every step of the way – customized the size, coordinated with the canvas vendor & shipping… the whole enchilada! She even called to make sure my “milestone” photo had arrived. And it did!
My photo far surpassed my expectations!!! It’s so AMAZING!! Thank you Margaret for your hard work and helping to re-create one of my most memorable days ever!
